Therefore they must be filled with seeds of grassy essences. Lawns with a lot of thatch or cornflower grass (Poa trivialis) can be treated with PNEUMATICSTAR. Times for overseeding: • areas characterized by humid summers: after the first cutting, during the summer and until the end of September • areas characterized by dry summers: after the first cutting (this should be done quite soon), from mid to late May in order to have sufficient humidity in the soil QUICK CLOSING OF HOLES = HIGH PRODUCTION The PNEUMATICSTAR is also suitable for overseeding in wheat. Sowing in this way, for example of clover, allows you to fix up to 100 kg/ha of atmospheric nitrogen. Soils with cover crops are very favorable from an environmental point of view, thanks to the good nitrogen balance. Overseeding in corn gives the following advantages: • improvement of the practicability of the soil during the various operations • control of late germinating weeds • better use of the nitrogen introduced with the sewage after the corn harvest • improvement of soil fertility • reduction of the need to use herbicides
