Description

The new MEK 1800 mechanically mounted harvester allows the collection of nuts thanks to the principle of mechanical picking from the ground. The machine can be applied to tractors with both front and rear three-point hitch, 540 r.p.m. Harvesting is carried out using horizontal brushes which convey the product towards a series of augers and screens (replaceable according to the caliber of the fruit to be harvested), which carry out an initial cleaning. The product is finally pushed by a fan positioned on the side of the machine, in bags or in a trolley. On request, a side brush can be installed for collection in the inter-row.
To obtain optimal harvesting performance, it is advisable to prepare the soil by repeatedly shredding the grass to be carried out during the year and before the fruit falls.
